The one piece of hardware that you will use the most, the screws are quite literally what hold everything together. Mathewson Standard uses 1/4-20 stainless steel screws that are made in New York.

Although they sit tucked away in the legs of the furniture, the solid brass threaded inserts really are the star of the Flat-Pack show. They are what allow for such a smooth and simple assembly. All Mathewson Standard threaded inserts are made in Pennsylvania.

The hardwoods that make Mathewson Standard furniture are what give it character, strength, and life. All Hardwoods are sourced from local south eastern suppliers.

What gives Mathewson Standard furniture a truly unique amount of strength is the toughened epoxy that holds the inserts in place. This toughened epoxy is designed for high strength and high shock absorption. Out toughened epoxy is Madde in Michigan.
